(seminoles.com) – Scottie Barnes, who helped lead Florida State to the NCAA Tournament in 2021 and became the No. 4 overall pick by the Toronto Raptors in the 2021 NBA Draft, was named the 2021-22 Kia NBA Rookie of the Year announced by the NBA. Barnes has proven to be the NBA’s most complete rookie this season averaging 15.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.7 blocks in 35.4 minutes. in 74 games.
