FOR THE ATTENTION OF VISITORS INTENDING TO TRAVEL TO THE STUDIO.

At the moment and for the next 11 weeks...courtesy of Welsh Water replacing water pipes ...the village of Llandygwydd appears to have been closed down and all access and exits from the village have Road Closed signs and cones across them.

Diversion signs have been put up but are based on the "Groundhog Day" principle.

Whilst they ...(W.W.) ... appear too lazy to only close the one road at a time that they are actually working on and have signed all the roads "closed" to save them the effort . Visitors may get the impression that there is no access whatsover.

All I can say is... that unless there are a dozen or so Yellow hatted men blocking the road in front of you leaning on their shovels looking smug...ignore the signs and continue on and do not be intimidated by the array of signs and cones that are rash-like around us.

It is a bit Russian Roulette-ish at the moment with anyone's guess as to which road will close....for we village occupants as well as visitors alike. There has been a list of which bits are to be worked on at certain times in the local paper. But requires a) the ability to read incredibly small print and b) have an "anorak" type knowledge of what the single track roads are called by the ordinence survey.

We usually differentiate between them by what types of wild flowers or the amount of grass growing up the middle.:)

Work is being carried on on the stretch of road towards the studio and up the village from the A484 turning..hopefully they will be finished this week and that route will be open regardless of the dire signs saying otherwise.

I'll keep you posted!
